Horror Adventure DreadOut 2 to launch globally on Jan 18th

DreadOut 2, a third-person horror adventure that draws inspiration from Indonesian folklore and urban legend

Fans of the horror genre have something to look forward to as Singapore based publisher Soft Source Publishing, in collaboration with Digital Happiness announce the global release of the much-awaited video game sequel, DreadOut 2, on the Nintendo Switch™ e shop on 18th January 2024.

DreadOut 2 picks up where the first game left off. Gamers will play as Linda, a teenage girl with supernatural power – the ability to sense and see ghosts. As she attempts to deal with the nightmarish spirits and dark forces that threaten to engulf her hometown, she must use her trusty smartphone to explore, hunt, and banish the hostile supernatural forces.

Building on the success of the original cult hit, DreadOut 2 will have more interactive elements and exploration opportunities. Furthermore, players can expect more intense melee combat, to help them tackle the menacing ghosts head-on. Gamers may even uncover local myths and legends as they search to complete the Ghostpedia app on Linda’s smartphone.

Moreover, players will not be wanting for thrills while they face off against the Kuntilanak and the horrifying Gore Surgeon as they battle their way through the game’s various boss levels. The game supports subtitles in English/Japanese/ Traditional Chinese/Simplified Chinese/ Spanish and Russian – so no matter where you are, you can still join the horror ride of DreadOut 2.
