Enjoy an Interactive Nintendo Experience Full of Character Meet and Greets, Photo-ops, Activities and Games at Stops Across the U.S. All Summer Long
Nintendo is gearing up for a fun-filled summer with their nationwide Play Nintendo Tour! This exciting interactive experience will be hitting cities across the nation from June 13 to September 2, bringing smiles to the faces of kids and parents alike.
The Play Nintendo Tour is completely free to attend, and promises to be a blast for all ages. Attendees will have the chance to meet and take photos with beloved Nintendo characters like Mario, Princess Peach, Donkey Kong, Pikachu, and more. But that’s not all – there will also be plenty of exciting activities, giveaways, and playable demos of the latest Nintendo Switch games.
With something for everyone, the Play Nintendo Tour is the perfect summer destination for families. Explore the magic and wonder of Nintendo’s worlds and characters through activities like:
- Summoning your courage like Luigi in a photo-op with the Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD game, which launches on June 27th.
- Walking the red carpet and taking center stage as Peach in the Princess Peach: Showtime! game demo, where you can transform into different personas and discover your favorite.
- Sharing the wonder with friends and family in the Super Mario Bros. Wonder game demo, where classic Mario gameplay is transformed by the magic of Wonder Flowers.
- Revving up your engines with Mario and friends in both the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe game and the upcoming Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – Booster Course Pass DLC.
- Posing for a photo with Pikachu and learning about the powerful and playful Pokémon in the Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet games.
Plus, there will be even more demos available, including Mario vs. Donkey Kong, Nintendo Switch Sports, Kirby and the Forgotten Land, Pikmin 4, Just Dance 2024, and starting July 18, Nintendo World Championships: NES™ Edition. And to top it off, you can even join Tom Nook and Isabelle from Animal Crossing: New Horizons for a fun island-themed photo-op.
But it’s not just about the kids – there will be plenty of themed fun and activities for the whole family. Parents can join in on personality quizzes, jumbo puzzles featuring Mario and friends, memory matching games, and even try their hand at the claw machine to snag some fun items. And for those interested in learning more about the Nintendo Switch system, there will be a dedicated area with recommendations based on your family’s favorite characters.
To make the Play Nintendo Tour even more exciting, attendees will receive a free Play Nintendo Tour passport. By participating in different activities, they can collect stickers and redeem them for prizes like Play Nintendo bracelets, coloring pages, and a free Nintendo Switch Online 14-day trial code (while supplies last). But the fun doesn’t stop there – attendees can also use the claw machine to snag loveable character plushies. And for those with a Nintendo Account, checking in with My Nintendo at the event will earn you a Super Mario themed gift item (while supplies last) and 100 My Nintendo Platinum Points to redeem for rewards on the My Nintendo site.
