The Vivacious Vespertilio is Back in Much Loved Aero the Acro-Bat

Get ready to soar through the skies once again with the iconic and beloved Aero the Acro-Bat! Indie publisher Ratalaika Games is thrilled to announce the return of this classic game with a new and improved version set to launch on PlayStation 4/5, Microsoft Xbox One & Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch on August 2nd, 2024.

Originally released in 1993 on the Super Nintendo and the Mega Drive/Sega Genesis, Aero the Acro-Bat quickly became a fan favorite with its fast-paced gameplay and lovable characters. And now, nearly 30 years later, gamers will have the opportunity to relive the first installment of the Aero series, which has stood the test of time and still remains a must-play for any gaming enthusiast.

Join Aero on his daring mission to save his friends and girlfriend Ariel from the clutches of the eccentric industrialist, Edgar Ektor. After being banished from the circus as a child, Ektor seeks revenge by invading a local circus and kidnapping all the staff to disrupt the show. It’s up to Aero, the star performer, to put an end to Ektor’s mad plans and restore the fun and excitement to the circus once again.

But this isn’t your typical platformer. In Aero the Acro-Bat, players must utilize Aero’s acrobatic skills in specific ways to complete each stage’s objectives. This sets the game apart from others in the genre and adds a unique level of challenge. And speaking of challenge, the Aero series has always been known for its difficulty, making it a true test for even the most skilled platformer players. However, for those who find it too taxing, this new version offers cheats to make the gameplay a bit easier.

Featuring 4 areas with 5 stages each, including stages with exciting rides, Aero the Acro-Bat has plenty of adventure to offer. But that’s not all, players can also choose between the English and Japanese versions of the game, giving them a chance to experience the game in a different language. Plus, with the rewind/turbo function, players can repeat sections until perfection is achieved or speed things up to keep the adrenaline pumping. And if needed, the save state function allows players to pause and resume the game at any point, eliminating the frustration of starting over from the beginning.

In addition, the new version of Aero the Acro-Bat includes screen filters that allow players to customize the game’s visuals with a retro-style monitor or black-and-white options. And for fans of the original game, there is a gallery featuring illustrations, posters, and box designs to indulge in a bit of nostalgia.

But that’s not all, the game also includes a cheats function that allows players to activate various cheats such as infinite energy, infinite lives, and invulnerability. This feature is sure to entice players to push their limits and conquer the game with ease.

With all these exciting features and improved graphics and gameplay, Aero the Acro-Bat is ready to make its triumphant return on August 2nd, 2024. So mark your calendars and get ready to take flight with Aero and his daring adventures once again.

Don’t miss out on the opportunity to experience fast, frantic flying fun that’s as entertaining as ever with Aero the Acro-Bat.
