CFK to bring Chrono Sword, a new pixel art Souls-like action RPG, to the globe

CFK brings 21c.Ducks’ highly anticipated action RPG, Chrono Sword, to a global audience.

On July 17th, CFK, a renowned global game publisher, announced that it will be releasing 21c.Ducks’ latest offering, Chrono Sword, to the world. With CFK’s extensive experience in global publishing, they are set to bring this pixel art Souls-like action RPG to gaming platforms worldwide, including PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, and Xbox. Fans of the genre can anticipate the release of Chrono Sword on Steam Early Access in 2024.

Set in the dark and gothic fantasy world of Adelnor, Chrono Sword takes players on an unforgettable journey through time as they fight to uncover the secrets of this mysterious land. The game follows the story of a protagonist who awakens with no memory in a city engulfed in flames. As they struggle to survive, they discover their power to travel between the past and the future, and their mission to prevent the destruction of this world.

But the journey is not easy, and players must battle fierce enemies and navigate through complex time-warped maps to unveil the truth. In the ruins of the future, they meet a dying woman who passes on her duty to them, revealing that they are all ‘Time Travelers’ with the ability to alter the course of history.

Chrono Sword stands out from other games in the genre with its unique pixel art style, which has garnered global attention since its announcement in 2019. The game has already received significant recognition, as it was selected as the first game in a collaboration campaign between Kickstarter and the global game testing platform, Game Round.Inc. It raised over $70,000 and successfully reached its funding goal in 2020.

Unlike other Souls-like games that rely on 3D graphics, Chrono Sword‘s isometric pixel art style offers a refreshing twist to the genre. The developers, 21c.Ducks, have put their heart and soul into elevating the game’s storyline and features, promising an unforgettable gaming experience for players.

The game takes players on a journey through a vast, three-dimensional world, rendered entirely in its signature pixel art style. With seamless transitions between maps and no loading screens, Chrono Sword immerses players in a time-traveling adventure like no other.

The game also boasts a range of systems that enhance the intense combat experience, typical of the Souls-like genre, with faster and more dynamic action. Further details about these enhancements will be revealed closer to the release date.

CFK’s partnership with 21c.Ducks to bring Chrono Sword to a global audience marks a new chapter in the world of action RPGs. With its unique pixel art style, time-traveling mechanics, and intense combat, Chrono Sword is set to become a favorite among fans of the genre.

Keep an eye out for its release on all major platforms in the near future.
