Monster Jam® Showdown

Lead the Challenge and Take Your Victory in Monster Jam Showdown

Get ready Monster Jam fans, because the ultimate showdown has just been announced. The latest trailer for Monster Jam Showdown, released today by Milestone and Feld Motor Sports, promises a fast-paced and thrilling gaming experience like no other.

Featuring a variety of game modes, Monster Jam Showdown gives players the chance to push their favorite 12,000-pound Monster Jam trucks to the limit. With both single-player and split-screen options available, fans can compete in stadiums inspired by real-life venues and take on challenges that will test their speed and skills.

One of the most exciting game modes is the official Freestyle contest, where players must accumulate as many points as possible within a limited time. And just like true Monster Jam drivers, it’s all about performing the most jaw-dropping stunts to impress the judges and win big.

But it’s not just about freestyle, as Monster Jam Showdown also offers adrenaline-pumping Head-to-Head races on track layouts formed inside the stadiums. And for an extra layer of challenge, there’s the Best Trick mode, where players must showcase their skills by performing specific stunts shown on screen. It’s just one of the many original game modes designed by Milestone to keep fans on the edge of their seats.

But the action doesn’t stop there. Monster Jam Showdown will also take players to the American wilderness with Circuit Racing and Figure 8 game modes. These races offer no-holds-barred competition, featuring huge jumps, strategic shortcuts, and destructible objects to power up the boost and take down opponents. It’s all about using your creativity to outsmart and outrun a crowded field of rivals.

For those who really want to put their skills to the test, there’s Extreme Freestyle and Extreme Head-to-Head, two offline-only events set in the untamed nature of Alaska, Colorado, and Death Valley. These events will push players to their limits, with Extreme Freestyle featuring bigger ramps, obstacles, and themed destructible objects to master, while Extreme Head-to-Head offers thrilling one-on-one races in knock-out tournaments held in wild arenas. And for an even bigger challenge, players can take on the Horde mode, both online and offline, where they must outsmart their opponents until the time is up.

But the competition doesn’t end there, as Monster Jam Showdown offers endless opportunities for boundless challenges online. Players can compete in Survivor, where only the last truck standing will be declared the winner by crashing and destroying their opponents. And for some high-octane team matches, there’s the Treasure Hunting game mode, where the team that collects the most treasures wins. And to make it easier for players to find the perfect match, all online game modes will be organized into playlists, featuring a variety of events to keep the excitement going.

With a total of 10 different game modes, including cross-platform play, Monster Jam Showdown leaves no room for boredom. And to give players even more motivation to compete, there are leaderboards and a Garage feature where they can keep track of their achievements and truck collection.

Mark your calendars, because Monster Jam Showdown will be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC starting August 29, 2024, with Early Access available from August 26, 2024.

Don’t miss your chance to tear up the dirt and prove yourself as the ultimate Monster Jam champion.
