New Battle Pass, Activities, and Celebratory Game Mode Also Available Now
In celebration of its third anniversary, the Pokémon Company International made an exciting announcement today for fans of Pokémon UNITE. The popular game, which is available on both Nintendo Switch systems and mobile devices, will be hosting a variety of in-game events and activities for players to enjoy. These events will not only add a new dimension to the game, but also give players a chance to obtain rare items and licenses.
One of the most highly-anticipated additions to Pokémon UNITE is the arrival of the fan-favorite Legendary Pokémon, Ho-Oh. This powerful creature is making its debut as a ranged Defender and brings with it a unique Ability called Regenerator. This allows Ho-Oh to gradually recover HP if it goes without taking damage from opposing Pokémon for a certain amount of time.
But that’s not all – Ho-Oh‘s moves are sure to keep players on their toes throughout the entire match. And when the time is right, it can unleash its Unite Move, Rekindling Flame, which allows it to revive knocked-out ally Pokémon by consuming all the Aeos energy in its possession. The more energy Ho-Oh consumes, the more allies will be revived and ready to battle.
To mark the third anniversary of Pokémon UNITE, a series of time-limited events have been announced. These events include the highly-anticipated Ho-Oh Commemorative Event, which will run from July 19th to August 11th. During this event, players can obtain a free die each day and use it to advance spaces on a game board. By completing corresponding missions, players can earn Divine Forest coins, which can be exchanged for Ho-Oh’s Unite license.
Another exciting event is the revival of the Panic Parade game mode, where players must defend Tinkaton from a horde of wild Pokémon. This event will run from July 19th to September 4th and will feature some surprise appearances from known Pokémon, making it a must-play for all fans.
On top of these events, players can also look forward to the distribution of Charizard Unite licenses, fashion items, and Aeos coins from July 19th to September 2nd. And for those looking to add a touch of style to their gameplay, a new Battle Pass themed around black flames will be available from July 21st to September 4th. By purchasing the premium pass and leveling up, players can unlock the coveted Dark Lord Style: Charizard holowear.
