Mandragora to be playable at gamescom 2024

It’s time to sharpen your weapons, hone your skills, and embrace the darkness because Mandragora, the highly anticipated dark fantasy Action-RPG, is coming to gamescom 2024. Knights Peak and Primal Game Studio are excited to announce that Mandragora will be playable at gamescom in Hall 10.1, Booth E-021. Players will have the chance to experience the most advanced version of the game and enter a brutal world where only the strongest survive.

Mandragora is a game that combines the best elements of Soulslike and Metroidvania games, promising an intense and immersive gameplay experience. In this world, mankind has surrendered to the monsters that roam the land, and the people of Faelduum have retreated behind walls of ignorance built by their leaders. As players journey through a world in decline, they will face vicious creatures, challenge nightmarish bosses, and make difficult moral choices.

One of the highlights of the game is its multiple paths worth taking. With six character classes to choose from, each with their own unique talent trees and passive skills, players can customize their gameplay and choose their own path. With over 200 active skill upgrades, players will have a plethora of options to become the ultimate warrior in this dark world.

But the challenges don’t end there. Mandragora boasts 15 brutal bosses and 19 challenging mini bosses that players will encounter on their journey. Each boss battle will put your skills to the test, pushing you to the limit as you fight for survival. And to make things even more exciting, renowned narrative designer Brian Mitsoda, known for his work on games like Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines, has crafted the game’s storyline. Players will be able to shape the fate of their world with alternate endings forged by their choices.

Not only does Mandragora offer intense gameplay, but it also has a fantastic soundtrack composed by Christos Antoniou of Septicflesh and performed by the FILMharmonic Orchestra of Prague. The music will add to the dark and eerie atmosphere of the game, creating a truly immersive experience for players.

At gamescom 2024, visitors will also have the chance to snap a picture with one of the game’s unique bosses, Matron Layla, a werewolf. So, not only can players conquer her in battle, but they can also grab a selfie with her at the booth.

Mandragora is set for release in late 2024, with an official date to be announced later. In the meantime, players can get a taste of the game and its world at gamescom. So, mark your calendars and get ready for an unforgettable gaming experience.
