A CELESTIAL STORM IS HEADING TO RETAIL THIS AUGUST WITH THE LAUNCH OF THE LATEST EXPANSION OF THE POKÉMON TRADING CARD GAME 19 June 2018—The Pokémon Company International today announced Sun & Moon—Celestial Storm, a brand-new expansion for the Pokémon Trading Card Game, launching across the planet on the 3rd of August, 2018. The season of emerald storms is nearly upon us, and with it a tumultuous battle between Pokémon and creatures from Ultra Space. The lineup for Sun & Moon—Celestial Storm includes several new Pokémon-GX: Articuno-GX, Blaziken-GX, Scizor-GX, Stakataka-GX and Rayquaza-GX, alongside new Prism Star cards featuring Latios, Latias and Jirachi.   The Sun & Moon—Celestial Storm expansion will feature: Over 160 cards, including: 3 new Prism Star cards 11 Pokémon-GX 27 Trainer cards Each booster pack will include: 10 cards from the expansion, including at least 1 rare card, plus 1 basic Energy card

100 Walmart Stores Will Feature Nintendo Switch Game Demos, Fun Activities and Chances to Win Great Prizes REDMOND, Wash., June 19, 2018 – Families that visit select Walmart stores this summer are in for a fun Nintendo surprise. Nintendo is teaming up with GameTruck and Walmart to create a “Summer of Fun” in parking lots at 100 Walmart locations around the country. Nintendo finished the first day of the E3 video game trade show in Los Angeles with two competitive champions and a host of bonus announcements that built on today’s Nintendo Direct: E3 2018 video presentation. Nintendo crowned ZeRo of Chile the champion of the Super Smash Bros. Invitational 2018 tournament. A longtime player of Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, ZeRo defeated seven other top-ranked Super Smash Bros. players from around the world to successfully defend his title from Nintendo’s Super Smash Bros. Invitational in 2014. ZeRo emerged as the top player of the new Super Smash Bros. Ultimate game for the Nintendo Switch system. In the final match, ZeRo used Mario to defeat runner-up MkLeo of Mexico, who played as Sonic.
